Our take
Hiring is a monumental task, especially for smaller businesses. When it goes wrong, then, this can represent heaps of wasted time, effort and money. CultureTest is a company out to combat this, supplying culture-fit tests to reduce bad hires without adding to the recruitment workload.
Through CultureTest's platform, companies can create bespoke culture tests to see how candidates mesh with their values and ways of working. They simply share what their culture is (or what they want it to be), and a test is generated to be sent to potential hires. Based on their answers, CultureTest generates a score card showing where the candidate is a good fit, as well as highlighting any red flags.
As 46% of new hires fail within 18 months, CultureTest is addressing a real problem for businesses - with an approach that has the potential to both reduce lengthy hiring workflows and ensure better-fit hires. And, with early users giving glowing reviews, the company is certainly one to watch.
