Role
Who you are
- This role will require strategy, urgency, and the ability to drive a team to exceeding revenue targets
- 2+ years of experience building and managing a high performing SaaS sales teams
- Successful track record of 100%+ of quota achievement as both a manager and as an individual contributor
- Experienced selling to Enterprise level accounts as an individual contributor or manager
- Experience driving outbound pipeline and closing business of outbound origin
- Previous experience recruiting, retaining, and developing sellers
- Experience managing and improving full cycle account executive KPIs
- High level of business acumen and understanding of how revenue leaders think
- Previous experience selling into Customer Support is preferred but not required
What the job involves
- As a new business Sales Manager you will lead and develop a team of SB/Mid-Market Account Executives within a fast-paced environment
- Your leadership will have a direct impact on the growth of the new business team, the development of your team, and Front’s success
- Hire, train and develop an accomplished team of full cycle small business and/or mid-market Account Executives
- Develop and coach the sales, product, and industry skills of each team member
- Drive outbound pipeline across your team through KPI management and rigor
- Assist your team throughout their sales cycles to help them land new business ranging from tactical to highly complex/multi-stakeholder
- Regularly report on both team and individual results and forecast your business with accuracy on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with peers and cross functionally to drive cohesive processes and ensure alignment
- Experience leveraging a CRM (Salesforce) to manage your business and pipeline
Our take
When a business receives an email from a customer it can set off a chain of forwarded emails across the company, an inefficient process where information (and sales!) can easily get lost. Front exists to change this, consolidating all customer communications into a single shared inbox which can be accessed by teams of any size and completely eliminates the need for internal emails.
With more companies moving to remote working and eCommerce becoming the predominant form of conducting business, Front's product has been enthusiastically received by over 8,000 companies, including Mailchimp, Shopitfy and Convoy. However it is by no means alone in this space, with huge competitors such as Google and Microsoft providing communications solutions and other internal communications tools such as Slack gaining traction. Front may have an edge here though: its unified solution also provides automated workflows, ticketing and analytical tools that are either absent or less well integrated in competing offerings.
In 2022, Front raised investments in a Series D round and achieved unicorn status with a valuation of over $1 billion. It is moving to futher develop its product and increase its market share, hiring on new talent ahead of a possible IPO in the near future. Definitely watch this space!
