Role
Who you are
- 10+ years consultative sales and leadership experience with a record of success navigating US healthcare, including at least 5 years selling to Enterprise Health Systems
- Extensive knowledge of the business of health care - how money flow, drivers for decisions, incentives, and how each system operates within its own macro and local environment
- Deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, including familiarity with the digital health ecosystem, hospital operations, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of EHR/EMR, including experience with modern software products that integrate into Epic or Cerner, along with a thorough understanding of the digital health ecosystem and the various mechanisms those solutions to go market at a technical level (FHIR, HL7, other APIs, etc)
- Working experience with various sales tools such as Salesforce
- A proven ability to develop strategies to target and convert prospects to customers
- Ability to speak in detail to stakeholders about how our technology works and integrates with their systems
- Startup or small team experience selling a SaaS solution into enterprise healthcare companies
- Available to work in Seattle or Boston preferred
What the job involves
- We are looking for an experienced Account Executive who can navigate the complexities of working with C-level stakeholders from large Health Systems
- You’ll spend your time establishing relationships, demonstrating Xealth solutions, and getting hands-on to define customer roadmap requirements
- You will be our quarterback on deals from start to finish supported by the broader sales, enablement, marketing, and customer teams
- Additionally, you’ll build relationships and support business opportunities with the broader Samsung team
- In this role you’ll manage the end-to-end sales cycle for multi-year SaaS contracts into Enterprise Health Systems, working directly with C- and VP-level stakeholders in Clinical departments, IT, Innovation, Digital Health, and Procurement
- We’ll set you up for success with a fantastic product that has strong name recognition, proven ROI, premier list of existing customers, healthy pipeline, and a team that’s passionate about revolutionizing healthcare for everyone
- Own the Enterprise Sales process end-to-end including prospecting, discovery, delivering presentations and demos, navigating complex health organization environments, and closing deals
- Drive the commercial and functional outreach to health systems - evangelizing the procurement and integration of Xealth technology into major EMR (Epic, Cerner, etc.) platforms
- Be comfortable and effective in presenting to C-suite healthcare executives and cover product, technical, and commercial topics
- Have the ability to present to a combination of clinical leaders, IT leaders and innovation leaders all in the same meeting - each of whom have a differing view on health tech and the orchestration of solutions
- Communicate Xealth’s value and ROI effectively to both clinical and non-clinical prospects, executives, and partners
- Partner with Xealth Senior Leadership to drive high-value deals
- Build and manage relationships with Samsung counterparts to effectively drive deal closure
- Navigate and negotiate deals with key stakeholders and procurement to arrive at profitable, multi-year deals with the Enterprise Health System
- Meet or exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth while collaborating with customer teams to ensure customer success
- Represent Xealth at tradeshows and conferences
- Manage up to 50% travel to client sites across the US
Our take
Xealth wants to make it easier to integrate digital tools into healthcare providers’ workflows. The start-up uses patient data to recommend services from a variety of vendors for possible prescription, which could range from an insulin monitor and crutches to a taxi ride and food delivery.
The company is well positioned for growth, both as its model reflects the overwhelming surge in interest in healthcare from the tech industry, where venture investors are increasingly putting their money, but also given its impressive founding team who have, together, previously seen entrepreneurial success. Xealth's product does all the work on the back end, communicating information to and from patients, making it straightforward and simple to use for customers.
