Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in technical roles (Software Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or similar)
- Strong foundation in systems design, APIs, and distributed architecture
- Experience working directly with customers - ideally in B2B SaaS or infra
- Comfortable writing and reading code - Python, TypeScript, or similar scripting languages
- Stellar communicator who can translate technical concepts for both builders and execs
- Passion for blockchain, crypto, and the infrastructure powering it - you don’t need to be a degen, but you’re curious and hungry to learn
- Bonus: experience at a high-growth startup or scaling a product in a fast-moving environment
What the job involves
- Alchemy powers the most innovative companies in crypto - from Robinhood and Coinbase to Worldcoin and Stripe. As a Software Engineer focused on Solutions, you'll work directly with our most strategic customers to help them design scalable systems, optimize performance, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in blockchain infrastructure
- You’ll be a strategic advisor, systems architect, and product collaborator rolled into one. You’ll bridge the gap between bleeding-edge use cases and robust infrastructure, shaping the future of Alchemy through your insights on real-world needs
- Write code to help users unlock the full potential of our stack
- Help top-tier teams design, scale, and optimize their use of Alchemy’s infrastructure - from smart contract automation to custom data pipelines
- Deeply understand customer goals and proactively help them onboard, integrate, and ship powerful products on top of our infrastructure
- Be the voice of our developer community - translate their needs into product insights and roadmap priorities
- Act as the technical point of contact for strategic accounts, navigating technical blockers, future planning, and success metrics
- Work across Product, Engineering, and BD to uplevel the full user experience and close feedback loops fast
- You'll operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and real-world adoption
- You’ll shape how top-tier crypto companies bring products to life
- You'll have massive scope and autonomy on a small, high-leverage team
- Define the customer experience for Web3’s infrastructure layer

Blockchain technology is a rapidly growing industry with many startups and established companies developing new applications that utilize it. However, many companies reinvent the wheel as they each attempt to build their own version of the blockchain software.
Alchemy offers a platform that simplifies the creation of blockchains and the launching of new nodes. It provides developers with “building blocks” that can be used to make the process more efficient. Alchemy is working with multinational organizations like Meta, Adobe, and Splunk, and it has won many clients from their current top competitor, Infura.
The company has seen considerable growth and is now acquiring companies to improve its stack. It now serves over 10M end users and became a unicorn after attracting impressive funding in 2022. It continues to refine its platform to gain competitive edge, recently launching a transaction simulation product to help reduce the chances of transactions becoming susceptible to scams.
