- 4+ years of experience gained in combination law firms and in-house with a technology / consumer electronics company (should have some in-house experience)
- Strong background in all facets of contract and commercial law is required, and exposure to consumer technology business is strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization
- Strong negotiating skills with the ability to effectively negotiate legal and financial/commercial issues
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships across all business units
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Familiarity with basic AI integration into work product
- Experience handling litigation and/or IP related matters is a plus
- J.D. degree from an accredited United States law school
What the job involves
- As the Legal Counsel, you are responsible for providing legal support to the Razer business housed in our Irvine office, to support its long-term business goals and objectives, consistent with the legal strategy of the parent company
- Draft, analyze, negotiate and complete complex commercial transactions with the firm's enterprise customers and strategic partners
- Collaborate with the Product, Sales and Marketing, Customer Advocacy, Human Resources, and Finance teams to achieve key business objectives
- Work with stakeholders on data privacy and security, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property matters
- Assist with creating, optimizing, and implementing processes and policies
- Provide training to the company on relevant legal topics
- Handle commercial contract disputes
- Working knowledge of AI enterprise models being integrated in workflow
- Other duties as assigned
