Role
Who you are
- 7+ years of product management experience, with a focus on growth, onboarding, or engagement
- Strong background in crypto, fintech, SaaS, or marketplace businesses
- Deep expertise in growth loops, A/B testing, funnel optimization, and user analytics
- Experience with conversion rate optimization, activation metrics, and retention strategies
- Strong ability to translate data into actionable product decisions
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and working closely with engineering, design, and marketing
- Strong UX intuition and a passion for building seamless, self-serve product experiences
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment, and make things grow really fast
What the job involves
- We are building out our Product division and looking for Product Managers to join our growing teams across verticals
- This role will require being full-time onsite at our New York office to support collaborative team dynamics and innovative problem-solving
- Lead and motivate a team of engineers and other cross-functional representatives in building coins infrastructure, DeFi, and wallets for institutional and retail clients
- Identify significant opportunities in an ambiguous area, build consensus around the roadmap, and work with your team to execute
- Own the roadmap, strategy, and execution for your area of ownership
- Define success for your team, determine metrics, and develop processes to measure progress towards your goals
Our take
The digital asset industry is maturing, with asset companies looking to shore up their positions by adding secure custody capabilities. This is good news for BitGo, an independent, regulated cryptocurrency custodian company providing security, custody, and liquidity solutions.
BitGo’s flagship multi-signature wallet solution helps its clients mitigate risk and optimize capital efficiency. The company has subsequently expanded to also cover a number of areas that are critical for any holder of major crypto assets - like portfolio and tax management. In this, BitGo was smart to focus exclusively on institutional clients: there’s huge appetite among larger players to expedite the mainstreaming of crypto, and they’ll need precisely BitGo’s tools to get there.
BitGo was in talks to be acquired by PayPal, and most recently Galaxy Digital, which speaks to a strong institutional confidence in the crypto wave. In spite of a rocky year for the digital assets (which now sees BitGo suing Galaxy Digital for pulling out of the acquisition deal), BitGo has manoeuvred itself into a central position to capitalize on what, now, seems a near-inevitable period of mass adoption. Exemplifying this, the BitGo Ventures wing of the company was launched in 2024 to partner with and invest in cutting edge blockchain and fintech startups.
