Role
Who you are
- We are seeking an Account Executive with SaaS experience and a proven track record of sales performance
- To excel in this role, you’ll need a background in B2B software sales, and the ability to operate in an early stage, fast-paced environment
- The right fit is a motivated hunter that can hit their numbers, learn and adapt quickly, and is comfortable creating their own playbook to win
- A minimum 2-5+ years experience as an AE and experience prospecting as an SDR/BDR
- A proven track record of independently closing deals, and exceeding sales goals at a high-growth startup
- Bonus points if you have experience with FECs or related industries
What the job involves
- You will be joining Tildei at a pivotal growth stage
- In addition to your role selling, as an early employee, you'll be instrumental in shaping our product, processes, and culture
- You will be supported in your work, but you will still need to own the full sales cycle - from prospecting to closing
- Reports directly to a cofounder
- Identify pockets of opportunity within our ICP and find creative ways to tap into them
- Source qualified leads via outbound prospecting
- Leverage your deep understanding of the market and software sales to help prospects understand the value of our software and service
- Manage your quota and help us beat our company-level growth target
- Maintain a tight feedback loop with our marketing and product teams to share insights from your conversations that will help us improve our positioning and product
- Set the pace as a leader amongst the team and help us scale
Our take
Event sales teams are often bogged down with inquiries and booking requests, eating time that could otherwise be used to run the experiences that the venues put on. The founder of Runhappy first recognized this when booking birthday parties for his children, but saw a culture of excessive admin and drawn-out application forms. Runhappy was born out of its conversational marketing predecessor Tildei to accelerate the event admin process for venues and their customers.
Runhappy’s software runs bookings and appointments, leveraging AI to respond to and manage inquiries, so that event teams can focus on providing a service. It’s no surprise that the company rebranded from its predecessor, utilizing Tildei’s conversational marketing platform to expand into an events management automation platform. It’s off to a great start too, having been listed on Built In’s Best Places to Work list in July 2026, and scaling its operations and leadership team.
