Staff Software Engineer, Castor

• You have a computer science background and 5+ years of software development experience
• You are interested in tackling challenging software architecture problems and enjoy both designing and implementing solutions
• You enjoy mentoring other engineers and sharing your expertise through design, documentation, and examples
• You communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong professional experience in PHP or Python. Bonus if you are comfortable using both
• Experience with distributed systems patterns, including microservices and event-driven architectures
• A commitment to engineering excellence, including high code quality, comprehensive testing, and operational robustness
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
• Experience collaborating with other engineers through code reviews, design discussions, documentation, and knowledge-sharing sessions
