Who you are
- Experience: 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or data analysis, with a strong focus on building data pipelines and deriving insights
- SQL Mastery: Advanced SQL skills for complex queries and performance optimization on large datasets
- ELT/ETL & Orchestration: Experience with tools like Airflow to streamline data workflows
- Data Modeling: A solid foundation in data modeling principles to design and optimize models for robust analytics
- Problem Solving: A knack for troubleshooting data issues and optimizing data processes
- Attention to Detail: A commitment to data accuracy and integrity in every output
- Communication: Strong ability to translate complex technical information for diverse audiences
Desirable
- Experience with Python, AWS, and SparkSQL
- Familiarity with Medical Healthcare claims data models
What the job involves
- As an Analytics Engineer on our Data Team, you’ll be at the heart of transforming raw data into powerful insights that drive smarter product decisions
- Working alongside product managers, data scientists, subject matter experts, and functional leads, you’ll build and fine-tune data pipelines, ensuring our data is always accurate, accessible, and actionable
- Your insights into product usage and performance will fuel Machinify’s innovative solutions
- Data Analysis: Dive deep into data to reveal insights on product performance, customer behavior, claims patterns, and key financial metrics
- Analytics Engineering: Develop and refine data models, transformations, and visualizations that fuel decision-making across teams
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable, efficient data pipelines using Airflow to keep our data flowing seamlessly
- Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, data scientists, SMEs, and function to understand data needs, deliver insights, and support product innovation
