Role
Who you are
- We are looking for a market-facing builder who understands the creator ecosystem and how creators monetize their audiences
- The right candidate knows the platforms, communities, and events where creators gather and can build authentic relationships that lead to long-term partnerships
- High level of initiative and ownership; operates as a self-starter in a builder environment
- Strong communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value and influence decisions
- Ability to earn trust quickly with creators and establish credibility in conversations about their business
- Resilient and persistent, with comfort managing long sales cycles and multiple touchpoints
- Experience using CRM or pipeline management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) to manage outreach and track performance
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics (GMV, conversion rates, earnings per creator)
- Familiarity with key creator platforms and tools (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LTK, ShopMy, Amazon Storefront, etc.)
- Ability to leverage data and tools to identify high-potential creators and prioritize outreach
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, product, and analytics teams to drive outcomes
- 8+ years in the creator economy, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, or social commerce
- Proven sales and business development instincts, with experience closing partnerships and driving pipeline
- Experience recruiting and partnering with commerce-driven creators
- Strong understanding of affiliate monetization, conversion dynamics, and creator earnings models
- Deep understanding of the creator landscape, including the conferences, events, and meet ups that matter most
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a pipeline, including sourcing, outreach, and conversion tracking
- Strong relationship-building skills with both creators and internal leadership
What the job involves
- As a result of our success, ShopYourLikes is seeking a Senior Sales Manager of Creator Acquisition to lead the continued growth of high-performing creators on our platform
- Creator growth is a core driver of our business. This role focuses on identifying, engaging, and recruiting performance-driven creators who generate real commerce through affiliate partnerships
- This is a sales-oriented leadership role responsible for building a pipeline of high-value creators, developing compelling offers to win their business, and positioning ShopYourLikes as the platform that helps creators maximize their earnings
- The Director of Creator Acquisition will begin as a hands-on operator, directly recruiting creators and building relationships across the industry, while developing the strategy, infrastructure, and team needed to scale a high-performing creator acquisition engine over time

- Growth in creators who treat commerce as a core part of their business

Our take
Connexity is a marketing technology company that operates an online retail and e-commerce advertising network. Connexity, which was first founded as Shopzilla, offers online sellers and publishers a means of building revenue and finding new customers without having to sell data to big-name advertising and discovery brands, namely Google and Facebook.
Over the years, Connexity has accumulated a number of related businesses, including Become.com, Skimlinks and PriceGrabber. It covers various activities including affiliate links, influencer marketing, in-stream advertising, and shopping search ads. This has led to over 800 million shopping leads, and billions in sales for its customers (particularly impressive as the e-commerce world continues to struggle to keep online consumers' attention). Its customers include Walmart, Wayfair, Skechers, Macy’s, eBay and Otto.
In 2021, Connexity was bought by Taboola for $800M. The company plans to continue extending Connexity's adjacent technologies, allowing for more cross-selling and upselling opportunities. It is also focusing on developing tools that attract and convert ordinary site visitors into browsers and then into shoppers.
