Company mission
To democratize finance for all.
Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio that demonstrates both visual craft and end-to-end product thinking
- Proven experience designing and launching new or early-stage products — you're comfortable with zero-to-one and know how to drive work forward without a fully defined path
- The ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments, synthesize feedback from multiple stakeholders, and make confident design decisions
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — you work well with product, engineering, and operations partners and know how to align diverse perspectives toward a shared outcome
- Proficiency in Figma and openness to integrating AI tools into your design workflow
- A genuine love for sports — whether you track stats, follow teams, or just live for the energy of game day. No formal sports design experience required; an appreciation for the fan experience is what matters
What the job involves
- As Senior Product Designer for Sports, you'll own end-to-end design for the sports vertical within Prediction Markets — from early concept through live launch.
- You'll shape how fans experience sports trading flows, amplifier events, and engagement features tied to the biggest moments in sports.
- It's zero-to-one work with executive visibility, real stakes, and an audience that's genuinely excited about what you're building
- You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and operations partners — navigating ambiguity, moving with speed, and delivering experiences that connect sports culture with a new category of financial product.
- If you love the energy of game day and want to build something that's never existed before, this is the role for you
- Own end-to-end design for the Sports vertical within Prediction Markets — from early concept through launch — taking full accountability for the quality and impact of every experience you ship
- Design sports trading flows, engagement features, and amplifier events tied to the biggest moments in sports, translating complex financial mechanics into experiences that feel intuitive and exciting for fans
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and operations teams to define the right problems and drive high-priority initiatives from idea to production
- Turn ambiguous, first-of-its-kind challenges into clear, elegant product experiences — bringing structure to spaces where the playbook doesn't exist yet
- Incorporate feedback from senior leadership and stakeholders thoughtfully, iterating quickly without losing quality or vision
Our take
For years, traditional brokers ruled the share trading realm, charging hefty fees that locked out everyday investors. Robinhood emerged as a disruptor, offering commission-free trading and opening the door to a new generation. Since then, expectations have continued to evolve, with investors looking not just to lower costs, but for simpler tools, clearer information, and guidance that makes the market easier to understand.
Robinhood was built to meet those changing expectations, designed from the start as a mobile-first platform that makes investor more accessible and less intimidating for people at every stage of their financial journey. Through its app, users can trade stocks and other financial instruments while benefiting from a clean interface and built-in educational support, helping them move from curiosity to confidence without unnecessary complexity.
Recently, Robinhood has strenghtned its impact too, particularly in the UK. With the launch of AI-powered Digests within its Robinhood Cortex assistant that helps users understand what's driving stock movements in plain English, while upcoming options trading and expanded educational resources add flexibility and depth. Together, these steps position Robinhood as a platform evolving alongside its users, blending technology and education to stay ahead in an ever-changing investment landscape.
