Our take
Touted as the “world’s fastest” self-checkout system, Mashgin is an AI and computer vision-powered touchless checkout system that cuts down transaction times to as little as ten seconds.
Mashgin’s smart kiosks use cameras to create a three-dimensional picture of objects, unfettered by packaging or placement, increasing retail rate for companies and cutting down queues for consumers. Whilst the market for smart self-service has become increasingly crowded over the last decade, Mashgin set itself apart by being the most vetted computer-vision based self checkout system in the space.
The company is already profitable and its products have been used in convenience stores, cafeterias, sports arenas and hospitals. Having attracted significant funding, Mashgin is focused on growing its team, accelerating expansion, and scaling internationally.
