Who you are
- Our DACH team are looking for a driven, ambitious, intelligent, confident and credible individual to join their GTM growth plans for 2025
- 3-6+ years of sales experience selling data solutions
- Background in Analytics, DB, BI, DWH, DLH, Data Catalog or some kind of Data Platform is essential
- Proven track record of hitting annual quota
- Experience closing $200k+ ARR deals with 6-9 month sales cycles
- Self starter with high energy/positive attitude
- Native German speaker with excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills
What the job involves
- Dremio is looking for a Commercial Account Executive in the DACH market to manage a large region and drive sales to mid-sized customers (up to 5k employees)
- This role offers the unique proposition of taking ownership for the whole Commercial market segment in Central Europe and driving further revenues through expansions within the existing client base and net new market development
- Through its unique category defining Intelligent Lakehouse Platfrom built of Apache Iceberg, Dremio offers its customers an accelerated path to AI and Analytics
- With a strong local market presence, full GTM support team, notable DAX customers references and a mature partner ecosystem, this role comes with notable earning and career developments prospects
- Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts by developing a sales strategies in the allocated territory with a target prospect list and a regional sales plan
- Prospect qualification and the development of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams
- Be the trusted advisor to existing customers by understanding their existing and future data roadmaps
- Arrange and conduct initial Executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings
- Driving the sales process from initial prospect to opportunity closure
- Ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue streams

Data lakehouse platform Dremio bridges the gap between data warehouses and data lakes to help data engineers, analysts and scientists streamline, curate, and run queries on raw, purpose non-specific data, allowing them to quickly build analytics stacks. The self-service platform enables users to create datasets from a multitude of sources and can be deployed on Kubernetes clusters, AWS, and Azure.
The company is tackling the longstanding, time-draining problem of having to manually extract raw data and load it into data warehouses, providing customers with low-cost, sub-second SQL queries for BI on the data lakehouse. Its offering has captured the attention of some big-name clients including Samsung, Bose, HSBC, and Microsoft, and has raised substantial funding.
Dremio is well set to see continued growth as it continues to innovate its data offerings, with a focus on security and privacy. A partnership with PlainID, provider of a central access control platform, will allow clients to manage and control access to data via Dremio, and the company has also achieved HIPAA certification.
