Company mission
To transform static software into living AI systems that autonomously evolve to better serve their users.
Role
Who you are
- 2+ years in an SDR or BDR role, with a consistent record of hitting your numbers
- AI-native approach to outbound and comfort with latest AI prospecting tools
- Curiosity about how products work, and enough confidence to hold a conversation with technical buyers
- Self-direction and comfort in a small team where the process is still being written
- Comfort selling technical products to technical buyers, and the credibility to engage senior stakeholders directly
- Ability to operate independently and thrive in ambiguity, with no task too small
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
What the job involves
- You’ll be one of our first sales development hires, and the person most of our future customers talk to first. Your job is to open doors: calling, emailing and finding creative ways to start conversations with companies that should be working with us. You’ll help run outreach yourself every day, and decide what our prospecting playbook looks like as we grow
- Own a monthly target for qualified meetings and pipeline. Plan your week around hitting it, and flag early when you need support or a new approach
- Conduct cold outbound every day. Start conversations with prospects who aren’t expecting to hear from us and turn them into booked meetings for our GTM Leads
- Pair calls with personalized email, LinkedIn and event follow-up. Give every prospect a clear reason to take the meeting
- Use AI tools to research accounts, find buying signals and personalize outreach at scale, so more of your time goes to live conversations
- Qualify prospects carefully before handoff, and give AEs the context they need to run a strong first call
- Keep the CRM accurate and up to date. Track your activity and conversion rates, and use them to sharpen our approach
- Try new talk tracks, subject lines and angles. Share what’s working with the team and the Director of Sales Development so the best plays get adopted
Our take
Dialogue writing for video games has traditionally been a matter of branching conversations based on player input, but this is a time-consuming and complicated process. In modern virtual environments which can contain thousands of characters, the need to save on costs means that conversations with many characters can be shallow and repetitive. Inworld AI's solution allows for the creation of unique and flexible interactions for even the most minor characters, based on just a few descriptive sentences.
Since launching, Inworld has quickly grown from an AI-character startup into one of the key players powering consumer AI. Its early work with companies like Xbox, Disney, and NBCUniversal helped provide the value of real-time AI experiences, and now a wide range of media companies, game studios, and fast-growing startups are building on its platform.
Now, with the recent release of Inworld Runtime, the company is taking an even bigger step. By opening up the internal system they originally built to handle huge, real-time consumer workloads, Inworld is positioning Runtime as the go-to backend for any team looking to scale from an idea to millions of users. Its adaptive graphs, automated MLOps, and one-click experiments remove most of the painful engineering work that usually slows teams now. And for Inworld, this turns Runtime into more than just a product; it becomes the core of the company's future.
