Our take
Global interest in fantasy sports leagues is booming, with the size of the market expected to reach almost $30 billion by the end of 2023. Within this, there’s certainly space for new companies harnessing the power of data analytics to boost the experiences of fans playing fantasy sports and following their favourite teams. Burgeoning startup 11WIzards is doing just that, bringing analytical software to South Asia's sports fans, allowing them to make more informed selections when playing fantasy sports.
Though currently pre-launch, the small team behind 11Wizards is has secured seed funding from leading investors in the fantasy sports tech industry. The company plans to use this to onboard more staff as it expands and launches its product. With a large market and innovative tools, 11Wizards could easily develop a significant business in this space.
