Founded back in 2005, 3CX is a communication solutions company that serves over 350,000 global customers. From its roots as a PBX (Private Branch Exchange) provider, it has evolved to offer a complete communications platform that includes call, video and live chat features.
One reason for the company's success is that it was founded when Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology was still new. This means it got in on the ground floor of what has become an expansive industry. Testament to its position in the industry, its clients include the likes of Air France, the NHS, Best Western and PepsiCo.
3CX continues to roll out features, as if further solidifies its position as a leader in the field and extends its strong reputation. Recent focus has been on enhancing security and adding expandable infrastructure, as well as building in the foundations for native AI support.
