To shape agriculture to meet the needs of a changing world, protect and respect the foundation of nature and help communities thrive.
With a history dating back to 1824, The Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) has grown to become Australia's largest cattle company. Specialising in the production of beef, the company boasts a substantial herd size of 432,226 and is particularly renowned for running Australia's largest herd of F1 Wagyu cattle.
AACo is focused primarily on supplying beef to retailers, food service providers, and export markets worldwide. The company covers approximately 1% of Australia's landmass, and has seen a recent value increase by nearly $300M. It has also generated $7.3M in carbon credits in the last year, helping reduce carbon emissions by 191k tonnes.
Going forward the company is turning its focus to the North American market to help further drive its success. While the company acknowledges potential risks associated with climate change policies and carbon pricing mechanisms in international markets, which could affect its future operation, it is still well positioned for future growth and success in the beef industry.
