Company mission

To enable every human to own property.

Our take

Property is a hot commodity in Canadaโ€™s blistering real estate market, but accessing this investment opportunity involves overcoming high barriers to entry.

Addy removes the most important of those barriers - capital - by enabling Canadians to crowdfund ownership of real estate on the Canadian market. Upto now, Addy has typically prioritised commercial properties in the $5-50m range.

The company is now looking to diversify its portfolio of properties. One angle it is looking to pursue is the development of socially impactful affordable housing that aligns with the values of its largely Gen-Z customer base.

Addy now faces competition from a growing number of rivals, including Ontario-based BuyProperly, NexusCrowd, RealtyShares and Fundrise. And the companies all offer variations on the same theme: buying ownership in property for a fraction of the cost.
