Adwanted UK was formed after Adwanted Group acquired Mediatel Group, a company that had dominated the British advertising and media technology market. This acquisition is part of Adwanted's plan to strengthen its foothold in the UK, part of a larger mission to provide the media industry with a global standard. Now, Adwanted is present in the three largest advertising markets in the world (the UK, USA, and France).

The company has developed products in industries such as radio, out of home, and events. This includes Mediatel Connected, the UK’s largest single source of media data used by agencies, media owners, brands and academic institutions.
