Our take
Security cameras are only useful if they are not compromised and operate in a way that actually protects those they are viewing. As a result of this there are often a lot of manual processes that must be done to maintain the health of security camera systems. AI-RGUS is an AI led software that can be integrated with security systems to maintain the productivity and operations of security cameras without the need for as much manual input.
The company works to reduce risks and avoid mistakes in repetitive tasks, like manually checking and monitoring camera functions, image reliability and the ability of the camera system to withstand cyber threats. The software was incubated at Duke University where it was originally implemented in a system of 2000+ cameras for the safety of students, faculty and buildings. Since founding in 2019 the company has expanded into new sectors, and in 2023 AI-RGUS was recognised in the “new products and solutions awards” by the Security Industry Association (SIA) and won the Managed Services award.
