Our take
Founded in partnership with Japanese-founded insurance company Aioi Nissay Dowa, AIOI R&D Lab is an R&D company researching the applications of AI within the insurance and risk analysis industry.
Collaborating with professors, researchers, graduates, and Oxford University spinout companies, AIOI R&D Lab is helping to build a safer and more resilient society through pioneering research into emerging risks that affect the insurance and risk analysis market. These include the supply chain, nature, and self-driving vehicles, with a focus on technologies such as agentic AI, privacy preservation, complex system modelling and quantum technologies and their potential uses within risk and insurance.
The applications of AIOI R&D’s research are manifold. Its partnership with one of the world’s leading insurance companies provides unparalleled scope and scale for the small team’s research.
