Our take
Can we make food from air? As crazy as it sounds, in short the answer is yes. With the ever-growing issue of the climate crisis the hunt to become more sustainable and loving towards our planet is on. Air Protein is a food manufacturer creating a new food system whereby meat is derived from CO2.
The company is heading up a new era of sustainable production. Through an air fermentation process and then mixing with live cultures, Air Protein is creating what begins to look like a flour powder and transforming it into any protein you can imagine. This technique was inspired by findings of NASA scientists.
Air Protein has been said to be one to watch as the start-up has made themselves known on the scene. The young company has definitely turned heads as it’s begun it’s journey, and they by filling a widespread need, they are well set to make an impact in the space.
