Our take
With the growing need for the staff of digital businesses to implement AI and machine learning tools without in-depth engineering and coding experience, no-code and low-code B2B products are of increasing importance. In the fast-paced and increasingly digitized business world, platforms like Aixplain help companies develop, manage, benchmark, and deploy their AI applications all in one place.
With $8 million in seed funding awarded in 2023, Aixplain can thank the AI research background of its founder for the trust in the young company. Fresh from leading roles at Facebook, eBay, and Amazon, Hassan Sawaf has created a low-code platform that provides clients with pipelines, models, and benchmarks for increasingly advanced end-to-end AI delivery.
At such an early stage, Aixplain has some catching up to do but benefits from its founder’s experience in the field. Its path to growth may not be frictionless though, as many countries begin to set their sights on AI regulation that could make the flexible and easy-to-use Aixplain platform harder to leverage as a business tool.
