To put Akeero at the centre of a fully connected and automated secure product development lifecycle – simply put, they want to be an essential tool in the security architects arsenal.
Our take
It has become apparent to many businesses that cyber-secruity risks cannot be ignored. That pressure has forced security to be considered earlier in the development cycle while money has poured into threat modelling and analysis services.
Akeero is building the tooling necessary to compete with both demands. The startup delivers an integrated automated threat modelling service for cloud-native products. Crucially, that means enterprises have their developers meet security best practices by default, allowing them to avoid time-consuming retrospective security work.
After a successful commercial launch in 2021, Akeero is iterating its product further with more features developed with input from its first customers. The company is focused purely on cloud security for now.
