Our take

Alma is a software company that builds tools for educators to help improve learning. Working with state and local institutions, Alma uses SIS tooling to make school operations more efficient and is scalable to budgets, districts, and individual needs.

Founded in 2012, Alma has had to navigate many changes in the US education system and works by the mantra that their “work is never done”. This is a fitting statement, because as the rise of remote work and leaps forward in technology change our relationship with education, software companies must continue to find new ways to aid education systems.

In recent years, Alma has become New Hampshire’s state-level data management system for education, built multilingual parent portals, and integrated third-party learning apps. Network migration has also become an important facet of Alma’s data management software, and as education becomes more reliant on digital efficiency, the company is set to continue this growth.
