Our take
Digital documents have become the norm in modern offices, particularly since the worldwide shift to remote/hybrid work in recent years. This makes it possible for multiple employees to collaborate and monitor the same documents, but this can quickly become confusing due to the mixing of document versions and the uncertainty of who is working on what.
Almanac provides an online platform for asynchronous document collaboration, allowing users to work together on dynamic documents, track progress, provide feedback, and merge document changes to consistent document versions. Through additional dynamic tools such as checklists, live analytics, and polls, the software also allows departments to use digital documents as interactive handbooks for centralized knowledge and collaborative discussion.
Whilst staples of office documents such as Google Docs already facilitate asynchronous collaboration between multiple people on the same document, Almanac has taken this a step further by specifically designing an operating system for this purpose. The company claims that through its platform, teams can save valuable time and money by making collaboration and discussion more efficient and constructive.
