Our take
Finding office space has traditionally been a very opaque market. You usually have to go through specialist brokers. There is limited visibility on pricing, which makes negotiating painful, and it's not easy to choose between lots of different options. Alvin are disrupting this by opening up transparency in the market.
Alvin are already the leading marketplace in Denmark for flexible office space, having helped over 5,000 companies find new space.
They entered the first new market (Dublin) in 2019 and reached profitability after just 5 months. They are now expanding to the rest of Europe as they look to become the leading marketplace in the space.
They have already helped over 11,000 companies in total, including big fast-growing companies like Strava, Stripe, HBO and Peakon.
