Ambr is on a mission to prevent burnout in the workplace.
Founded by three ex-Uber UK leads, Ambr is a digital platform that helps companies manage and prevent burnout stress within their workforce. Easily integrated with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Slack, Ambr allows managers and team leaders to analyse and track data related to burnout and stress as well as prompting employees away from behaviour that could lead to it.
With the last few years seeing major upheaval in the nature of “work”, remote and hybrid teams have been left in the dust when it comes to wellbeing and mental health strategies that actually prevent, rather than cure, burnout. Through reduced productivity, absenteeism, and staff turnover, the symptoms of burnout cost organisations $155 billion a year, a problem large enough for VCs to back Ambr when it was founded in 2022.
Ambr are a very small company and still in Beta stage, with a long way to go to prove its software actually leads to results. However, Ambr has been selected as a WebSummit Impact Startup on account of its focus on mental health, and it certainly poses a proactive solution to an ever-growing problem.
