Company mission

To make difficult conversations feel less difficult

Our take

Founded by three ex-Uber UK leads, Ambr is a digital platform that helps employees practice high-stakes workplace conversations, such as conflict resolution and presentations. Easily integrated with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Slack, Ambr empowers its customers to train in a wide range of scenarios using voice simulation technology, offering feedback and analysis to improve their communication skills.

With the last few years seeing major upheaval in the nature of “work”, remote and hybrid teams have been left in the dust when it comes to developing communication skills once inherent to the office environment. Ambr's product covers negotiation, sales pitching, leadership communication and customer service, and its impact has even seen mass rollout by leading travel company Skyscanner.

Though still a small team, Ambr has been selected as a WebSummit Impact Startup and has bagged major clients such as Uber, Deloitte and Miro. Pivoting away from specific mental health and burnout-related tracking to wider communication skills has broadened its remit. This has honed the company into an effective solution tackling a major shortfall in the hybrid and remote work setup.
