Our take
To help support the transition to renewable energy sources, Annea offers automated predictive maintenance and underperformance detection for renewable energy assets. Its end-to-end software leverages machine learning, digital twin and IoT technology to deliver predictions about future failures up to a year in advance.
The increasing spotlight on climate change represents a great opportunity for the company, and its software's ability to lower the cost of running renewables systems is likely to gain it attention. This potential for success is highlighted by a €2.75 million Seed funding round earned in 2023, that will be used to strengthen its position in the US as well as expand across Europe and Southeast Asia.
