To build a “marketplace for advice” and become the phone book of the future.
236% employee growth in 12 months
Anyone was created after the founders realised they could trace key career decisions to a few short conversations. Moments of advice had had a significant impact on their working lives. Therefore, they wanted to make pivotal moments accessible to all sorts of people — by giving the app’s users the chance to call any expertise provider on the network and ask their question.
The company is unique in the sense that its platform is built around 5-minute phone calls. Whilst video has advantages, it can be difficult to fit into people's schedules. What's more, texting can be time-consuming and lead to considerable misunderstandings. Therefore, a simple phone call can be useful, quick, and to the point. It's different from other social audio plays as the app automatically terminates the call after 5 minutes.
The early startup has already raised nearly $4 million to date and is now focused on large-scale onboarding having been in a limited closed Beta.
