Company mission

To fundamentally change how companies can collaborate securely and extract value from data.

Our take

Concerns with privacy, compliance and security can make it difficult to share data, meaning that companies miss out on valuable insights and solutions. Apheris' platform enables businesses to extract value from this data, while preserving privacy, by using techniques such as decentralised computing, federated learning and cryptographic protocols.

The unique aspect of Apheris' platform is the ability for multiple parties to analyse their data together without being pre-occupied with data privacy. Customers use the platform for drug discovery, new product research, and supply chain optimisation for a range of benefits (such as improving business processes and unlocking new insights from data).

Apheris' customers include BCG and Johnson & Johnson, highlighting its appeal to enterprise-level companies in providing a reliable, secure platform for collaborative data science. It has raised considerable funding, the last of which was secured in 2025, which is supporting the accelerated development of its platform.
