Our take
As cryptocurrencies become more commonly accepted, Aplo is supplying a way for institutional investors to enter the world of digital assets. Its trading platform delivers the opportunity for users to access hundreds of tradable pairs, with execution algorithms finding liquidity regardless of what is being traded, and a range of features making the digital trading experience effortless to manoeuvre.
The platform’s value lies in its simplicity. Users only need to deposit with Aplo – even when trades are executed elsewhere – and the portal is comprehensive with capabilities including spot trading, leveraging, margining, and more. The “Earn” feature, added in 2022 at the same time as the company rebranded from SheeldMarket to Aplo, is what allows users to generate competitive rates of return for their crypto assets without ever leaving the platform.
Aplo intends to capitalise on the increased interest in crypto assets as institutional investors feel the results of economic pressures and, as the only EU-licensed crypto broker, it has positioned itself well to do so.
