Our take
As the world becomes progressively more data-driven, the demand for real-time, top-quality data analytics platforms has increased. Approximate Labs is an AI research lab and product studio that is aiming to make an AI as fluent in data as GPT-3 and DALL-E are fluent in language and art. This would make data analysis more universally available, driving results such as faster scientific discovery, all while combatting misinformation.
Approximate Labs’ multi-model text and data foundation model has the ability to understand and manipulate data at the same level as a human data analyst. The AI analyst operates as a collaborator, engaging with its users in a human-like manner as it compiles and presents data, explains how it arrived at its answers and adjusts its approach based on feedback.
The young startup is raising funds to further accelerate product development and make key hires to the founding team. With the rapid increase in AI intelligence, Approximate Labs is developing a product that covers a niche in the market with substantial growth potential.
