Company mission

Apryse's mission is to advance document processing to make work better and life simpler.

Our take

Apryse (formerly known as PDFTron) is a leading provider of document processing technology. Its Software Development Kit supports a range of file types including PDF, MS Office, and CAD formats, enabling features such as viewing and annotation, as well as more complex capabilities.

Integrating with all major document platforms, Apryse’s suite means developers can build document functionality quicker and easier, saving them time to be spent on other tasks. The company’s expansive offering means it can support small businesses and large enterprises, as well as independent developers.

Apryse has recently made a number of acquisitions to broaden its platform and improve functionality for users. These include iText, the leading open-source PDF tech company, as well as e-signature innovator eversign. The company’s rebrand came on top of this, and was intended to “better reflect the company's expanded offerings and commitment to innovation” as it continues to operate at the front of the document processing space.
