To accelerate the pace of life science discoveries by making automation accessible.
31% employee growth in 12 months
Scientists working in life sciences labs face time-consuming and repetitive data collection and analysis tasks, many of which could be automated through recent advancements in robotics. Artificial's software platform supports existing semi-automatic robotic assistance in labs to provide fully automated solutions.
Artificial aims to tackle the existing siloes found in automation solutions, to save lab workers valuable time to tackle more complex tasks. The company’s approach is interesting as it does not focus on replacing staff within life science labs, but instead augmenting their workflow through automation of repetitive tasks. The platform also collects data from this automation to help provide insights into how tasks within labs can be made more efficient.
The company serves a number of customers including Thermo Fisher and Beam Therapeutic, with clients both utilising the software directly, and in partnership with their own customers. Funds secured by the company continue to enable it to build out its software and improve its capabilities.
