Company mission

To build towards a world in which humans & our Artisans work alongside one another to propel humanity forward and drive economic growth that benefits everybody.

Our take

Whilst AI agents are popping up here, there and everywhere, Artisan AI hopes to build more sophisticated work assistants that it calls "Artisans". These Artisans will be designed to act as additional team members that take over where they can, but are also capable of calling in human help when required.

So far, the company has launched Ava - an AI sales rep - that is able to discover leads, construct and send bespoke emails to prospects, reply to questions, and book follow-up meetings. Previously, it announced agents that would cover marketing, CS, recruitment, design and finance, but these never materialised - perhaps because it wanted to more deeply develop this primary offering.

The company is very well-funded, and boasts some impressive reviews. It has been investing in expanding the team as well as broadening Ava's capabilities. Infamously, Artisans went viral in 2025 for its "stop hiring humans" slogan, though the CEO has talked extensively about this being a deliberate attention-grab. He does state that AI should replace work humans don't want to do, and work we are not inherently better at.
