To help creatives access professional-grade graphics tablet capabilities from their iPads.

Professional graphics hardware can be pricey, for independent creatives and larger enterprises alike. To combat this, Astropad launched its design software with which users can convert their existing iPads into professional-grade graphics tablets, filling a lucrative and hotly anticipated niche.
Household names like Pixar, Nintento, and Disney joined its customer base, but this attracted them the attention of competitors too. Astropad had its Luna Display product ‘sherlocked’ by Apple’s Sidecar feature back in 2019. This both proved the efficacy of its offerings, and dealt a heavy financial blow to the relatively young company. The company has proven to be impressively versatile and perseverant in the wake of this crisis, diversifying and refining its Studio and Luna Display products,
Astropad also pivoted to Windows support with its public beta launch of Project Blue. Since then, it is continually innovating, and recent changes include a full support of Windows and further developments for Project Blue. If Astropad continues on this trajectory, it should see further success.
