Identity verification is an invaluable tool in the fight against online identity fraud. However, preventing identity fraud online continues to be incredibly difficult. Authenteq leverages AI and blockchain technology to solve this problem.

Authenteq sets itself apart in the market with their AI-driven, 60-second identity verification process. This uses a proprietary passive liveness detection to make sure whoever is signing up for the service is doing so in real time. The company then issues an eID for the user, located on the user’s mobile phone and private blockchain, and is then able to verify users with government-grade facial recognition algorithms.

Authenteq's product has gained impressive traction in the market, with the company raising over $8 million in funding. They have already proven its technology can tackle internet trolling and fraud, but expanding its services will help it maintain an edge in the growing verification market.
