That’s not just an upsetting statistic, but also represents a major economic cost to health services and patients. Avid is a UK-based health coach app that helps patients to understand and mitigate personal health risks, delivering savings for key stakeholders.
Unlike other somewhat convoluted big-data, A.I. approaches, Avid is starting by pairing its users with their own personal Health Navigator - a verified health coach delivering 1:1 coaching sessions, accountability check-ins and personalised content tailored to their goals & lifestyle.
The startup has initially built out an expert health coaching network and all-in-one platform for Coaching with a dedicated coaching portal with the startup charging a subscription fee to its users.
The difficulty for Avid will likely be maintaining the level of attention and care it is providing through its human experts at scale while growing profit margins.
