Our take

Axis Insurance is an insurance broker serving both Canadian and international clients, combining several British Columbia brokerages, some of which date back to 1928. With the combined experience of its portfolio companies, Axis’s risk managers and insurers have become key thought leaders in insurance for fields such as construction, real estate, decentralised finance and aerospace.

Covering a vast array of insurance and risk management operations, the company has itself started investing in insurtech companies, growing its influence on the market. Its acquisition of Magnes, alongside a recent injection of investment, indicates that the group remains active and forward-thinking as the space becomes increasingly complex.
