Company mission

To enable everyone's success story with world leading experts by your side

Our take

Mentorship is an invaluable way for creative people to learn and grow in their field. However, creative mentorship can be inaccessible to many. BBC Maestro solves this problem by giving users access to e-learning courses led by some of the world's most respected creators.

BBC Maestro has benefited considerably from the credibility and connections of the BBC brand. This has allowed it to attract top-tier talent, such as filmmaker Edgar Wright and chef Marco Pierre White. Users can buy individual courses, or access unlimited courses via a yearly subscription.

Maestro's main challenge will be competing with the likes of MasterClass, founded in 2014, which offers a similar model with similar pricing. Maestro will need to continue to attract top-level talent in order to compete effectively with rival platforms.
