Our take
BKwai is building a platform to deliver insights to engineers in the construction industry using research and applied technology to support a “more resilient” build environment. It uses data science and AI to gather insights from manual measurements, sensor data and satellite data.
The specific applications including helping engineers accelerate their planning processes (e.g. by combining historical satellite data with the engineers' own measurements, they help them instantly map millimetre-scale site movements over time.), as well as avoiding project delays and potential disasters (they help engineers use data visualisations and prediction insights to spot issues before they became significant problems).
BKwai is also an industry partner of the Cambridge Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction (CSIC), and have also been selected for the Tech Nation Applied AI growth programme (an initiative to support promising AI startups)
