As is the nature of a startup, there are lots of "hats" to wear, lots of things to work out for the first time and evolve, lots of change and lots of thinking for yourself! This makes for an exciting and varied environment where each day is different. This can make it challenging, but also really stimulating and gives each of us an opportunity to make an impact.

We're a small team and so the impact of each person is pretty huge! Thankfully, the high bar we set when hiring people means that we have an awesome team. Everyone brings different strengths, skills and expertise to the table. The best part is that my colleagues are not just intelligent, they are also awesome to work with - helpful, friendly, collaborative and supportive.

BKwai have just received significant funding and are in a major growth stage. The next 12-18 months will be very exciting! Being involved at this stage ensures our ideas will form part of the business for years to come
