Our take
Badi leverages Machine Learning technology to help people find rental accommodation and flatmates, learning from the interactions of other users to predict compatibility. The platform also offers a matching and booking system for travellers, while landlords and property managers can also create listings.
Launched in Barcelona, the company has soared in popularity and expanded further afield in Europe before arriving in New York after investment from Goodwater Capital.
As city populations continue to grow year on year and housing becomes harder to come by, Badi’s AI solution is well positioned to offer plenty of value to all parties.
While the company’s expansion has been impressive, concerns have been raised in the past about user security and trust procedures – issues that Badi has been remedying over the last 3 years.
