Our take
BazaIT is an IT jobs board focused on catering to ‘product-minded people’. It’s developed a streamlined job scanning and application site for tech candidates, and an online recruitment tool for hiring teams that serves as a dashboard and chat interface, all rolled into a single platform.
The product appears to be in its early days so far, but it's cast in the same mould as a recent run of platforms looking to disrupt major job search players like LinkedIn and Indeed. All focus on a simple interface, job ad transparency, and a service that ultimately works to the benefit of the applicant. In the tight tech jobs market, this model is gaining strong traction.
So BazaIT is following a tried-and-tested model, and with its special focus on the Ukrainian tech sector may well be plowing a lucrative furrow. Tech talent from this part of the world is in especially high global demand, and whilst BazaIT will need to substantially grow its number of listings, it’s building on a strong premise.
