When I joined Beauhurst, my learning was prioritised as I went through a thorough onboarding process before properly becoming customer-facing. This was brilliant as it meant that I had the time and space to focus on learning all that I needed to know to do the job well, and I was also given lots of support during this learning process from my manager, the team, and the company. After being onboarded, the opportunities to learn have continued. We have regular upwards feedback sessions with our managers and team, and this gives us the opportunity to flag new areas and skills which we'd like to learn about. More generally, the team are extremely supportive so if there is anything which you would like to focus on, you will be very supported in this. Lastly, we have sessions where we chat through, as a team, any situations we're not quite sure how to respond to. This is massively beneficial in enabling you to develop in your role, allowing you to learn from others' experiences and learnings.

The people are the best thing about Beauhurst. I love coming to work because I enjoy the work, but also because I love spending time with my colleagues. The culture is very inclusive and encourages interesting discussion and ideas for improvement, whilst also embracing mistakes, which makes for a stimulating and rewarding environment. But it's also very fun and social - lots of people are good friends with others at Beauhurst and spend time together outside of work.

I was working in a very different industry before joining Beauhurst and as such had little to no experience in my new role. The training brought me up to speed quickly, with constant support to evaluate strengths and weaknesses. I have since had 2 promotions since joining 1.5 yrs ago! That sort of progression would have been impossible at my previous role, but good hard work is recognised and rewarded at Beauhrust!

Beauhurst not only tracks fast growing businesses, but is one itself. My team has doubled in size since I joined with a mixture of experienced individuals as well as people straight out of Uni too. I feel like there is always a fear that a fast-growing company can loose it's way, but doesn't feel like that at all! We have plenty of company events so you get to know people from all across the company.

My manager is super. We have twice weekly calls to discuss what is going well and what could be going better. The career progression is nicely laid out and we have regular reviews of this too. All of the team's opinion is valued and anyone can come to the team with a suggestion, be it their first stint in sales or a more senior member of the team. I recently spotted a project opportunity that I thought would add value to the team. I am taking ownership of the project and given guidance by my manager throughout.

You have basically total freedom to do your work in the way that is best for you. I've never once have anyone check up on where I am or what I'm doing, or pressure me to work in a certain way. You also, as a developer, have almost total freedom to choose the projects you most want to work on, and to develop yourself in the technical directions that are most interesting to you.

The Nottingham office is an amazing place to work and the entire team are so supportive of my growth.
