When I joined Beauhurst, my learning was prioritised as I went through a thorough onboarding process before properly becoming customer-facing. This was brilliant as it meant that I had the time and space to focus on learning all that I needed to know to do the job well, and I was also given lots of support during this learning process from my manager, the team, and the company. After being onboarded, the opportunities to learn have continued. We have regular upwards feedback sessions with our managers and team, and this gives us the opportunity to flag new areas and skills which we'd like to learn about. More generally, the team are extremely supportive so if there is anything which you would like to focus on, you will be very supported in this. Lastly, we have sessions where we chat through, as a team, any situations we're not quite sure how to respond to. This is massively beneficial in enabling you to develop in your role, allowing you to learn from others' experiences and learnings.

The people at Beauhurst are brilliant! I've found that everyone is kind, hard-working, really thoughtful, genuine and supportive. This has created a working dynamic that is such a joy to be a part of, and the office is such a positive and enjoyable place to be!

There is a culture of transparency at Beauhurst, with relevant updates and the thinking behind them being shared across the company. This openness is really helpful in creating cohesion across the company, and in giving people the confidence to ask questions and in having the opportunity to be heard.

Being the leading provider of data and insights on the UK's startup ecosystem means you really get to learn about and understand how this industry works - it's really cool to see the trends in different sectors, regions, and investment size, especially as it's all driven by our own data. We also regularly see how our platform is used by clients, which demonstrates the value of what we do and makes it feel meaningful.

Everyone's work here is valued and appreciated - there is a great culture of celebrating success and making sure everyone knows what other teams and people do and how they contribute to the company. The work I do is very varied, which I like, and I really see the positive impact I have on the company and our clients.

The people are the best thing about Beauhurst. I love coming to work because I enjoy the work, but also because I love spending time with my colleagues. The culture is very inclusive and encourages interesting discussion and ideas for improvement, whilst also embracing mistakes, which makes for a stimulating and rewarding environment. But it's also very fun and social - lots of people are good friends with others at Beauhurst and spend time together outside of work.

Beauhurst knows that good results require people to be at their best, so the company invests a lot into our health and wellbeing, providing mental health support and flexible working. We also have different sports clubs and societies created by the employees, where we can have fun, learn and grow together while also developing healthy habits.

Here I feel I can communicate openly and honestly no matter the role or position people have. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming, and all opinions are valued. There is a high focus on feedback and working together towards a shared goal, so no matter how junior or in which department we work, we are encouraged to contribute to any activities around the company.

At Beauhurst, we celebrate both successful work and hard work. We believe in small steps and celebrate them every day. What I love most about Beauhurst is that mistakes are viewed only as a way to learn. Instead of being judged, we discuss, share, learn and improve together.

I was working in a very different industry before joining Beauhurst and as such had little to no experience in my new role. The training brought me up to speed quickly, with constant support to evaluate strengths and weaknesses. I have since had 2 promotions since joining 1.5 yrs ago! That sort of progression would have been impossible at my previous role, but good hard work is recognised and rewarded at Beauhrust!

Beauhurst not only tracks fast growing businesses, but is one itself. My team has doubled in size since I joined with a mixture of experienced individuals as well as people straight out of Uni too. I feel like there is always a fear that a fast-growing company can loose it's way, but doesn't feel like that at all! We have plenty of company events so you get to know people from all across the company.

My manager is super. We have twice weekly calls to discuss what is going well and what could be going better. The career progression is nicely laid out and we have regular reviews of this too. All of the team's opinion is valued and anyone can come to the team with a suggestion, be it their first stint in sales or a more senior member of the team. I recently spotted a project opportunity that I thought would add value to the team. I am taking ownership of the project and given guidance by my manager throughout.

There's a gap in the market for our service, and we have many ideas to help us get there and go even bigger. It feels like we're all working towards that shared mission too, despite having varied roles across the company

Because there's so much opportunity at Beauhurst, there's a lot of scope to do some really great stuff. No matter who you are, your ideas will be heard and considered. We value collaboration but that doesn't prevent us from recognising individual contributions, even for those who aren't the loudest in the room

I don't think I'd be where I am today without my colleagues. Beauhurst has some exceptional people and I've learnt so much from them over the years. There's a diverse range of academic backgrounds and roles in the company, meaning we can all provide a fresh perspective to a problem.

You have basically total freedom to do your work in the way that is best for you. I've never once have anyone check up on where I am or what I'm doing, or pressure me to work in a certain way. You also, as a developer, have almost total freedom to choose the projects you most want to work on, and to develop yourself in the technical directions that are most interesting to you.

Work is made meaningful by the team. You get respect from the company and you end up feeling loyalty towards the company in return. The company's goals become your goals, and you become intrinsically motivated to do your best for the team.

Very social office, generally all nice, interesting and smart people. Great vibes in the office and plenty of company socials/events to attend.

We work with a huge range of industries, so you're constantly learning about how those industries work and how they use our product. Personal development is also invested into, like workshops, conferences and courses.

No matter how senior or junior you are, your voice is always heard. Mistakes are embraced as learning opportunities, so you never feel afraid to say when something has gone wrong. We're also kept in the loop with the longer term company strategy at all times.

We regularly run an awards 'ceremony', where you can nominate someone who has gone above and beyond and 3 winners will be announced and will win a prize. We also regularly shout out excellent work on slack channels and everyone celebrates in the wins.

This is my first job as a graduate and I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful group of people to work with! The Nottingham office is an amazing place to work and the entire team are so supportive of my growth. There are also frequent opportunities for the Nottingham teams to visit the London office for socials and events which the company entirely pays for as well!

The company and team have a great focus on your wellbeing. Right from onboarding, we are made aware of a free confidential counselling service available to everyone. I have also seen colleagues be chased off morning team calls when they mention feeling a little ill, with their manager insisting they take the day off!

My manager meets with me multiple times a week to make sure I'm managing my time well and is always willing to help if I'm struggling with anything. There is no expectation to work outside of hours as well beyond the goals you set yourself

The Beauhurst team is growing fast, which offers great opportunities to progress quickly! I've been given more responsibility that any other company I've worked for, including the chance to manage for the first time.

Everyone is so intelligent and hard working. I've also never worked with such a supportive and present senior team - it's a breath of fresh air to see them getting so stuck in every day. Everyone is always cheering each other on with positive and constructive feedback so that we can all work better!

The team at Beauhurst really is fantastic - everyone is always willing to help out, and people to well our there way to show support. Everyone rallies towards team goals which keeps everyone motivated. The people make going to work every day fun, challenging (in a good way) and rewarding!

The company is full of different people from all sorts of backgrounds and with so many varied life experiences. You meet lovely, interesting people both inside and outside of your team which makes working with people really fun and insightful.

Beauhurst really puts its people first - you get access to a fantastic (free!) anonymous counselling service and there are so many different company events throughout the year which focus on bringing everyone together across both offices and those who are remote as well!

I truly believe Beauhurst is working towards something great with its mission. I love seeing positive feedback from existing clients who've had great success with our platform and it's always nice to see that something we've built has helped a new university spinout gain investment from a fund, or that our data has helped an existing company hire new people so they can grow and scale etc

When I joined Beauhurst I got all the support I needed to succeed. There were no stupid questions, and I was given what I needed to be my best. There's a library that you can get books from, and if you find something relevant for professional development, you'll be supported.

The people are Beauhurst's biggest asset. My colleagues are truly wonderful, and even people I don't regularly work with I feel are always happy to have a chat and a catch up. The sense of humour is amazing, and I've laughed so hard my face hurts more than once!

Our company values are an integral part of the way we do things, and the values are fantastic. There's no culture of blame, and no toxicity. Everyone is working together to achieve our values and it shows in the way teams interact and the way people act.

I joined as a temp, moved to a permanent role. Got the opportunity to learn and improve in the field I wanted to grow into rather then the one I was hired in the first place

One of the best things at BH os the company culture. No matter who you meet at the office, you will always feel welcome. Also, plenty of parties and events.

One of the best things to work in a startup is that people from all departments listen to you and your ideas, no matter your deprtament. BH is no exception. People here is smart and good at communicating, making work so much easier for everyone.
