BetterCents' mission is to help you take control of your financial future, making you less stressed and better off financially.
In the UK, over 60% of adults have personal debt, and household debt is estimated to rise close to £2 trillion by 2025. Taking control of personal debt is one of the key steps that individuals can take in becoming financially independent and successful, and yet, surprisingly, doing so is notoriously difficult.
This is the problem which BetterCents wants to solve. The UK's first digital debt manager, their platform enables users to refinance debt in a way which is simple, pain-free and which helps its users save money. Operating as a credit broker, not a lender, their solutions are independent and, importantly, free to use. BetterCents thus has real potential to democratise personal debt management.
Breaking into this market could be difficult, BetterCents will be competing directly with the likes of Debt Care for market share. With a strategy focused around its digital platform, BetterCents is banking on accessibility as its strongest asset. In a time where more and more people are falling into dangerous debt, BetterCents' services could be a much-needed antidote to many people's problems.
