Our take

Loyalty cards are fantastic tools for businesses to secure regular customers, but it can often be difficult to encourage customers to use them. Many consumers are deterred due to the necessity of carrying many plastic reward cards, but without these, there is no way for a business to track their purchases and reward them.

Bink provides fintech infrastructure to businesses that allows them to identify and reward loyal customers through their bank accounts, preventing the need for reward cards. Purchases eligible for loyalty systems show up on the accounts of Barclays bank users, who can then access them through the Bink mobile application.

As the shift from physical to digital solutions gains momentum, Bink goes a step further by eliminating the necessity for customers to actively seek out loyalty systems. The company simplifies the process for businesses to identify and reward their customers, while users of the Bink app enjoy centralised access to all their rewards systems in one place.
