Our take
Blockchain technology presents significant potential for the futureproofing of financial services through the benefits of cryptocurrency and decentralized data integration. However, implementing such technology requires expertise in blockchain engineering, a specialized area of fintech that is expensive and time-consuming to work with.
Bitaccess provides infrastructural services to Fintech businesses to facilitate the provision of blockchain services, allowing them to access the benefits of blockchain in an easy-to-use manner. The company provides two key products - BTM, covering the software and hardware required for businesses to host Bitcoin ATMs, and Catena, a blockchain suite dedicated to enabling consistent data integration and compliance of complex datasets through blockchain technology, smart contracts, and hardware security modules.
Whilst the services that Bitaccess provides are achievable by any fintech company with appropriate resources, the company has taken a unique approach by providing accessibility for companies without such expertise. The company has also made it easier for Bitcoin ATM operators to start up by providing all the hardware ATMs and software infrastructure required to commence operations.
