Our take

With increasing interest in extended reality, the lines between real and virtual are ever-blurring, and companies are keen to capitalise on the massive interest that has been generated around Augmented Reality; but, as with any new technology, they may not have the teams or expertise to do so. Blippar provides a suite of tools for users to build their own no-code AR experiences, as well as delivering custom projects for brands, to empower businesses and creatives to realise their Augmented Reality visions.

Blippar, founded in 2011, has created a host of world-firsts in the AR space, and it offers a number of features that are limited in the market – such as marker recognition. The company’s suite of tools includes the AR configurator BlippBuilder, as well as powerful WebAR SDK and more. Its studio team have extensive experience in a range of fields, which allows them to deliver AR projects to any specification.

Blippar has an impressive list of clients including Google, OnePlus and Hulu. The company continues to scale and hire talent, and it has placed itself in good footing to play an integral part in the extended reality revolution.
